Be a Toyota FT-86 World Reporter

Want to get behind the wheel of the all-new Toyota FT-86 before it debuts at the Tokyo Motor Show? Unfortunately, we can't help you there, but we can tell you all about the new iPhone app, which lets you photograph the exotic-looking, rear-wheel drive coupe before it takes the stage in Tokyo, this December.

Known as the FT-86 World Report, the app lets users digitally impose an orange Toyota FT-86 onto any picture they take with their phone's camera. After snapping your masterpiece, you can then upload the picture to the FT-86 World Report website, which proceeds to compile the uploaded images of other reports into one streaming video that shows off the vehicle in some interesting places. Visitors can also see which region has uploaded the most snapshots, and view specific streams from each region accordingly.

The FT-86 World Report can be watched at here, while the app can be downloaded by anyone using an iPhone or iPod touch on the app store. If you have a few minutes to spare, we highly suggest checking out the app, as it's both fun and highly engaging.

Leave it to Toyota to prove that there really is an app for just about everything, even photographing an upcoming vehicle. Still, if more information on the actual FT-86 is what you're after, then make sure to check back often, as Team Toyota is actively working to keep you up to date.

Please let us know a time that is convenient for you.
